The problem
The sport's inventory is invisible, even to the people inside it.
Every trainer we interviewed does the same thing: call the people they trust, one by one, every month, and keep the answers in their head. "Every month it changes. I do it from memory."
The trainer is the agent. Sale and lease deals of $30,000 to $200,000 are arranged by phone, split two to four ways on a handshake, and recorded nowhere. Competition horses are a $37 billion segment in the United States with no transaction record at all.
Public listing sites don't fix it. If a horse is posted for everyone, people assume something is wrong with it. The good ones move inside networks, and the networks have no shared memory.

Real-estate agents solved this decades ago. A multiple listing service is not a marketplace. It is an agreement among professionals to pool inventory, declare compensation before negotiating, and keep one record everyone can rely on. Stirrup brings the same three rules to your network.

The pilot
Small on purpose. Density beats size.
We are starting with one cluster of trainers across New Jersey, Miami and Wellington: a few barns that already trade with each other, thirty to fifty active horses, and a concierge team that enters the first listings for you. Free for the founding trainers while we earn the right to charge for anything.
We review every request personally.

What does it cost?
Nothing during the pilot, and never a percentage of your deals. If we charge later, it will be for things that make a transaction safer or easier, priced in the open.
Who can join?
Professional trainers with a federation record, invited by trainers already in the network. Owners and riders come in through their trainer's page, not through a signup form.
Who sees my prices?
The public sees what you choose to publish. Your network sees what you share with them. A net price on a share is seen by the two trainers involved, and always disclosed to the owner and buyer in that deal.
Do I have to use a website?
No. You can run everything by WhatsApp. The website is the record, and the link you send to clients.
What about my owners?
The owner approves the listing and sees who it has been shared with. Nothing about their horse goes anywhere they haven't agreed to.
